Grass fed and grain finished Angus beef
We raise high quality, grass fed grain finished Black Angus beef. Our cattle are born on our ranch and spend their entire lives on pastures along the river. Our cattle are free of growth supplements, growth hormones, and steroids. We avoid the use of antibiotics in all instances unless directed by our veterinarian to treat an illness. The geographic isolation of the ranch protects our cattle from diseases common in operations that are closer to one another. Our calves are born either in meadows while being monitored closely on a daily basis, or in case of cold weather they spend their first days in cozy calving pens with their mother under close supervision. Our mother cows are bred by regularly rotated bulls, and our grain finishing program yields meat that is well-marbled and delicious. Because of our mountainous terrain and natural approach, our cattle grow slightly slower than those in flat land operations and much slower than feedlot cattle. We believe this produces better quality, nutritious, ethical, and sustainable beef.
